About
Our vision is to take action against sex trafficking. To make ‘visible’ the realities of trafficking and bring this ‘invisible’ world to public attention: unveiling the truth.
(un)veiled is an interactive, multi-arts exhibition, which will inform and raise awareness of trafficking. We want to leave you challenged and inspired and provide you with opportunities to do something.
Why bother?
Two children are sold every minute | Girls are being offered for as little as 15 Euros | Girls working in Italy and Spain 15 years old and younger trafficked from Romania | Girls trafficked for 2 or 3 years come home still only 13 years old | Breaking houses | Girls can be bought & sold between numerous pimps before being forced to the UK
These facts and figures can be overwhelming, but the most overwhelming fact is that it happens. To his daughter, to her sister, to their neice and to her mother. This is overwhelming.
But if we unite with one voice, we can use our collective shout to make the horrors of trafficking known. We can all do something with whatever skills we have to become abolitionists. But first we must see past the facts, figures and statistics and make this personal.
